About the position
The Maintenance Technician role at Conagra Brands involves maintaining and repairing equipment in a food manufacturing facility. This position is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of production lines for various iconic food products. The technician will work independently under the guidance of a Maintenance Supervisor and will be responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and maintaining records in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Carry out generalized instructions on operations of the Maintenance department under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and manuals.
- Lay out work and estimate materials and costs.
- Use tools and equipment to develop, construct, troubleshoot, repair, manage, or adjust machinery, equipment, parts, or vehicles.
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery.
- Maintain records and inventories and keep a clean work area.
- Perform miscellaneous related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- At least 3 years' maintenance experience in an industrial setting, preferably in the food industry.
