About the position

The HRIS Solutions Analyst at Inova Payroll, Inc. is a mid-level remote position responsible for providing escalated analysis and support to internal service teams and select client accounts. The role requires expertise in payroll and timekeeping, particularly with the UKG Ready platform, to troubleshoot complex issues and deliver solutions. The analyst will also identify opportunities for process improvement and provide training to enhance the knowledge of support teams.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an expert and internal escalation point for troubleshooting, researching, and resolving complex client issues within the UKG Workforce Ready application.
  • Identify opportunities to improve knowledge and expertise of support teams in coordination with Inova's internal training department and team managers.
  • Perform complex configuration and system changes for existing clients, involving front-line support staff for assistance and training.
  • Maintain and increase UKG Workforce Ready product knowledge as system updates are released.
  • Use strong research and problem-solving abilities to solve complex challenges intersecting client needs and system capabilities.
  • Deliver 'best in class' service to Inova client companies, focusing on client satisfaction and retention.
  • Communicate effectively in both oral and written form; follow detailed directions; set priorities and organize work to meet deadlines.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted during the course of work; assist in training and coordinating the work of other team members assigned to the team/department.
  • Work as part of a team to deliver value and service to all clients.
  • Provide value-added client service through maintaining good working relationships and timely responses to questions and inquiries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of prior experience in HRIS or payroll-related roles.
  • 3-5 years of experience with Kronos Workforce Ready/UKGR systems knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of payroll processes and HR systems experience.
  • Exceptional ability to provide superior service.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced skills in support and implementation of UKG Ready in a service bureau environment.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, codes, regulations, standards, methods, and practices related to payroll and employee benefits; basic accounting principles as related to payroll processing; standard office procedures.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to focus on and comprehend numerical and financial data.
