About the position
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk at New World Medical is responsible for managing all shipping and receiving tasks for Commercial operations, while also providing support for warehouse activities. This role emphasizes processing both domestic and international sales orders, maintaining inventory oversight, and collaborating closely with the Customer Service team to ensure efficient order fulfillment and high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments related to Commercial sales, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Work closely with the Customer Service team to ensure timely processing of shipments, based on priority.
- Prepare orders for shipment by pulling inventory, packing securely, and coordinating with carriers for timely delivery.
- Generate packing slips and labels.
- Utilize domestic and international shipping platforms like FedEx, UPS, and DHL.
- Receive returned products and process according to company procedures.
- Collaborate with Customer Service to ensure accurate processing of shipping documentation.
- Load and unload delivery trucks using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Communicate effectively with freight carriers.
- Maintain optimal levels of shipping supplies and replenish inventory as needed.
- Organize and restock the shipping warehouse to standard levels.
Requirements
- Minimum of High School Diploma
- 2+ years of warehouse experience
- Ability to use Microsoft Office (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe PDF effectively
- Knowledgeable in CRM software (e.g., SAP) preferred
