About the position

The Bilingual Copywriter at GMMB will play a crucial role in crafting compelling messages for both English and Spanish-speaking audiences. This position involves collaborating with an Art Director and an integrated team to develop effective communication strategies that align with client goals. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a difference in the world and will utilize their skills to create engaging narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Work with an Art Director to develop engaging creative ideas for both English and Spanish-speaking audiences.
  • Collaborate with an integrated team to understand client goals and develop relevant and effective communication strategies, particularly for various Spanish-speaking audiences.
  • Write clear, concise, and compelling copy and translate complicated information into easy-to-understand narratives.
  • Effectively sell creative thinking to internal teams and to clients.
  • Stay current on advertising, branding, social and cultural trends, and use that knowledge in your creative work.

Requirements

  • At least 4-6 years of experience as a copywriter, preferably at a communications agency or in-house creative department.
  • Fluency and exceptional writing skills in both English and Spanish.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects while showing an attention to detail.
  • The flexibility to thrive in a firm that puts client service first.
  • A willingness to oversee/approve Spanish translations from contractors and manage recording sessions with Spanish-speaking talent.

Benefits

  • Hybrid work schedule with at least two days in office presence.
  • Salary range of $75,000 - $90,000.
