About the position

As a Creative in Marketing at Google, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the narrative and visual identity of Google products and services. Your work will not only involve crafting compelling copy but also engaging in hands-on design and prototyping. Responsibilities

  • Drive creative excellence through the craft, a mindset of making/prototyping, with art and copy working together.
  • Create and execute elegant and compelling campaigns for product launches and retail campaigns across a portfolio of products.
  • Build relationships with cross-functional partners to ensure seamless integration of marketing efforts with overall business goals.
  • Stay attuned to emerging marketing trends, technologies, and consumer behaviors, identifying opportunities to leverage these insights for competitive advantage.
  • Deliver detailed execution and maintain a keen eye for detail, communicating ideas and expressing the rationale behind copy decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience working in a creative discipline (e.g., writing, filmmaking, video editing, design, art direction, photography, etc.).
  • A portfolio of creative work.

Nice-to-haves

  • 8 years of experience as a writing creative at an agency or corporate environment.
  • Experience with successful collaboration and cross-functional partnerships with global, regional, and local teams.
  • Ability to demonstrate new thinking around storytelling and how it is weaved in through-the-line integrated campaigns.
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment and communicate varying points of view to peers, cross-functional stakeholders, and executive leaders.
  • A track record illustrating a multi-discipline foundation, with a strength in Copy.
