About the position

The Copywriter / Corporate Brand Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in executing corporate branding efforts for a top automotive manufacturer. This position focuses on developing and implementing strategies that enhance brand credibility, promote corporate objectives, and engage employees. The specialist will create written and graphical content, manage internal and external communications, and support initiatives aimed at improving employee inclusivity and engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Execute corporate branding efforts including strategies around brand, corporate purpose, CSR, executive visibility, and employee engagement.
  • Create, develop, and implement persuasive programs or projects to promote brand credibility and achieve corporate objectives.
  • Write and produce written and graphical content about the company on various platforms.
  • Develop and support internal and external communications and presentations.
  • Execute a LinkedIn strategy to highlight leadership, engage employees, and build the Genesis brand as an admired employer brand.
  • Advise and support internal efforts to improve employee inclusivity and engagement.
  • Build the corporate brand strategy for Genesis, focusing on brand purpose, multicultural efforts, CSR, and sustainability messaging.
  • Control expenditures in accordance with budget allocations.
  • Manage processes and reporting related to purchasing and finances.
  • Compile and contribute to weekly and monthly reports, presentations, and analytics of Corporate Branding activities.
  • Maintain awareness of changing marketing trends, consumer attitudes, and opinions to assist in evaluating new program proposals.
  • Utilize the diverse talents of the staff by efficiently managing time, materials, and budget while focusing on company goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 4 - 5 years of experience in creative writing or journalism, with advertising agency experience preferred.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of media platforms (e.g., broadcast, internet, promotions).
  • Effective project, personnel, and budget management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
