About the position

The Copywriter will join the Marketing Team of a financial services client, focusing on creating engaging and persuasive copy to drive sales and enhance brand awareness. This role requires a strong understanding of financial services and marketing strategies, with an emphasis on collaboration and creativity. Initially, the position will be onsite in Topeka for training and onboarding, with potential flexibility to work from the Lenexa office thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Develop original copy for various marketing materials including ads, emails, websites, and social media posts
• Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute effective campaigns
• Ensure all copy aligns with brand voice and messaging
• Conduct research to understand market trends and audience preferences
• Edit and proofread copy to ensure high-quality content and adherence to client guidelines

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Copywriter or related role
• Strong portfolio of marketing copy and sales writing
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Familiarity with SEO principles and keyword research
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Strong organizational and time management skills
