About the position

Direct Resources Group, Inc. is seeking a full-time, on-site Copywriter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with clients, strategy teams, and the creative director and our lead copywriter to devise and execute compelling direct mail and email marketing campaigns aimed at customer acquisition. This position is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about crafting compelling marketing content. You will have the opportunity to contribute to a growing program, build systems and tools to enhance efficiency and performance, and have a major impact on creative direction and program performance. You will also work with Fortune 100 clients as well as local and regional marketers, providing a diverse range of projects and experiences. As a Copywriter, you will interact with clients and strategy teams to develop creative recommendations, ensuring that all marketing campaigns align with client goals. You will execute direct mail and email marketing campaigns, collaborating closely with the creative director and lead copywriter to create persuasive and effective content. Your role will involve developing and presenting creative ideas that meet strategic objectives and resonate with target audiences. This position offers a high volume of writing opportunities, allowing you to develop new ideas and work with existing campaigns, making it a perfect fit for someone looking to grow their copywriting skills in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with clients and strategy teams to develop creative recommendations.
  • Execute direct mail and email marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with client goals.

  • Develop and present creative ideas that meet strategic objectives and resonate with target audiences.

Requirements

  • Existing copywriting experience with a portfolio of work samples.
  • Direct marketing experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams.
  • Understanding of direct marketing strategies and willingness to hone DM skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of email marketing platforms (Salesforce) and tools is a plus.
