About the position

The Copywriter DTC for Kylie Cosmetics will be responsible for creating and managing digital copy across various platforms. This role requires a strong background in copywriting and editing, particularly in the direct-to-consumer beauty sector. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with digital managers and designers to support marketing initiatives and ensure brand consistency.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, write, edit, and proofread direct-to-consumer content including product pages, landing pages, and ad creatives.
  • Implement SEO, SEM, and DTC best practices to optimize copy for various platforms and audiences.
  • Deliver copy on time, addressing changes quickly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with DTC digital managers and designers on creative briefs and marketing campaigns.
  • Reinforce the brand voice across all touchpoints, working with the Brand Marketing team.
  • Maintain a thorough QA process to check for inconsistencies in content.
  • Assist in setting up new products in the content management system for the Merchandising team.
  • Provide ad-hoc project support to the Ecommerce Director on product and content-related projects.
  • Stay updated on beauty trends and competitor launches, applying copy best practices.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in ecommerce copywriting, ideally for a direct-to-consumer beauty brand.
  • High attention to detail with stellar proofreading and editing skills.
  • Experience writing copy for performance and growth marketing channels.
  • Proactive and action-oriented, able to meet deadlines independently.
  • Familiarity with SEO & SEM best practices related to copywriting.
  • Certification in Google Ads and Facebook Ads is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Shopify, Attentive, and Klaviyo is a plus.
  • Strong appreciation for the beauty sector and passion for the industry.
  • Collaborative team player with strong networking skills.
  • Positive attitude, thriving in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
  • Willingness to work occasional nights, weekends, or holidays as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certified in Google Ads and Facebook Ads
