Coty is seeking a talented Copywriter DTC to take charge of digital copywriting for Kylie Cosmetics. The ideal candidate will possess extensive copywriting and editing skills, with a proven track record of writing for various digital platforms and channels. This role is integral to the DTC Ecommerce team, where the candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment characterized by a heavy promotional and product activation calendar. The Copywriter DTC will collaborate closely with DTC digital managers and designers to fulfill their copy needs, while also engaging with other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms. In this role, the Copywriter DTC will be responsible for conceptualizing, writing, editing, and proofreading a wide range of direct-to-consumer content. This includes product pages, landing pages, performance media ad units, email creatives, SMS creatives, and both short-form and long-form blogs. The candidate will apply SEO, SEM, and DTC best practices to create optimized and engaging copy tailored to specific platforms, channels, and audiences. They will also be expected to provide multiple variations for regular A/B testing and leverage insights to identify future opportunities. Timeliness is crucial, as the Copywriter DTC will need to deliver copy on schedule and address any changes quickly and efficiently. They will partner closely with DTC digital managers and designers on all creative briefs, participate in daily calendar and project management meetings, and help conceptualize new marketing campaigns. The candidate will play a key role in strengthening and reinforcing the brand voice at every touchpoint, working closely with the Brand Marketing team to refine messaging as needed. Additionally, they will develop and maintain a thorough quality assurance process to check for spelling, grammar, pricing, and other inconsistencies. The Copywriter DTC will also assist in setting up new products in the content management system to support the Merchandising team, ensuring all product attributes are confirmed. They will provide ad-hoc project support to the Ecommerce Director on product- and content-related projects and must stay well-informed about new beauty trends and competitor launches, as well as copy best practices in social media.
