About the position

As an E-commerce Copywriter at Maven Lane, you will be instrumental in shaping the brand's voice and enhancing its online presence. This role involves creating engaging, SEO-optimized content for various digital marketing initiatives, including product listings, blogs, and email campaigns, with a focus on the furniture and home decor industry.

Responsibilities

• Write clear, persuasive, and keyword-rich product descriptions and titles for furniture products.
• Conduct keyword research to optimize product listings and web content for search engines.
• Develop and write informative blog posts related to furniture and interior design trends.
• Craft compelling copy for email marketing campaigns and promotional newsletters.
• Create and update content for website sections, ensuring consistency in tone and messaging.
• Execute content strategies specific to various selling platforms like Amazon and Wayfair.
• Monitor and analyze content performance using tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in eCommerce copywriting, preferably in the furniture or home decor industry.
• Proven experience with SEO, keyword research, and content optimization.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with impeccable grammar.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience using tools like Google Keyword Planner and SEMrush.
• Ability to write in a brand-consistent voice that engages and converts.
• Familiarity with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify and WooCommerce.
