About the position

Ascend Digital Agency is seeking a talented Copywriter/Editor to join their marketing team. This full-time position involves creating, proofreading, and editing compelling marketing materials across various platforms for small and medium-sized businesses. The ideal candidate will have a strong writing background and a passion for delivering high-quality content that resonates with target audiences.

Responsibilities

• Create clear, concise, and engaging copy for a variety of marketing materials including emails, landing pages, blog posts, social media posts, and print ads
• Edit and proofread all marketing materials, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute successful marketing campaigns
• Conduct research and analysis to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
• Develop a deep understanding of our target audience and tailor copy accordingly
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload to meet deadlines

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related field
• 2+ years of experience in copywriting and editing, preferably in a marketing or advertising agency
• Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to write in different styles for various target audiences
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Detail-oriented and able to consistently meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
