About the position

As a Copywriter in the Brand Innovation Lab team at Amazon, you will be at the forefront of creating innovative campaigns for a diverse array of global brands. This role involves collaborating closely with art directors, designers, program managers, and producers to leverage the unique capabilities of the Amazon platform, including Alexa, Twitch, and Prime Video. Your primary focus will be on developing campaigns that not only meet advertiser objectives but also enhance the customer experience. You will lead projects and manage client relationships, ensuring that the creative output is both compelling and effective in reaching the target audience. In this position, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, writing, and executing ad campaigns that resonate with consumers. Your exceptional writing skills will be crucial in crafting content that attracts, retains, and grows an audience. You will also be expected to showcase a data-driven mindset, utilizing insights to inform your creative decisions and ensure that the work delivers measurable results. Presenting ideas and concepts to clients and internal stakeholders will be a regular part of your role, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to articulate your vision clearly. The Brand Innovation Lab team is dedicated to creating unique campaigns and activations for high-profile advertisers such as Pepsi, Microsoft, Adidas, Samsung, and Unilever. By utilizing various platforms within the Amazon ecosystem, you will help develop campaigns that reach millions of customers both online and offline. The Endemic pod specifically focuses on brands that sell directly on Amazon, providing you with the opportunity to work on a wide range of products, from sneakers to household goods. This role is not just about writing; it's about pushing the creative envelope and finding innovative solutions that benefit both the client and the end customer.

Responsibilities

  • Concept, write and execute innovative ad campaigns and experiences for global brands
  • Partner with art directors, designers, program managers, developers and producers to create customer-focused solutions that deliver on advertiser objectives
  • Independently lead campaigns and collaborate with internal teams, clients and external agency partners
  • Create campaigns through exceptional writing skills that attract, retain, and grow an audience
  • Showcase being data-driven and obsessed with understanding customers and making work that delivers results
  • Present ideas and concepts to clients, agencies and internally
  • Proven ability to ideate for film, print, digital, out-of-home, experiential and social
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time to meet aggressive deadlines
  • Mentor and inspire younger designers and creatives

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience at advertising agencies and/or in-house creative departments
  • Must have an online portfolio URL demonstrating big, campaignable thinking that can extend into any medium
  • Strong understanding of digital and social platforms, as well as their use within marketing
  • Exceptional writing skills that demonstrate the ability to create campaign content that attracts, retains, and grows an audience
  • Experience in audio-only media
