We are currently seeking a dynamic copywriter to join our marketing team. This role is ideal for someone who considers themselves a storyteller and is passionate about crafting clear, persuasive, and relevant copy that incites action and raises awareness for OPSWAT's product offerings. The copywriter will focus on a core line of our business and will collaborate closely with product marketing, subject matter experts, content strategy teams, other writers, and designers to develop engaging marketing and technical content aimed at growing our customer base, driving revenue, and enhancing brand awareness. This position requires in-office or hybrid work; remote work is not an option. The copywriter will be responsible for developing informative and compelling short- and long-form content tailored for various B2B cybersecurity audiences across all marketing channels. This includes creating, proofreading, and editing content for diverse mediums such as digital ad copy, email sequences, newsletters, web copy, infographics, video scripts, blogs, eBooks, and product collateral. The role also involves managing creative content projects to ensure stakeholder approval and adherence to project deadlines, contributing innovative ideas for novel content opportunities, and upholding the consistency of brand voice, style, and standards across all content. Additionally, the copywriter will support SEO optimization efforts to ensure web content is search engine-friendly and targeted towards specific keywords.

Responsibilities

  • Develop informative and compelling short- and long-form content for various B2B cybersecurity audiences across all marketing channels.
  • Create, proofread, and edit content for diverse mediums, including digital ad copy, email sequences, newsletters, web copy, infographics, video scripts, blogs, eBooks, and product collateral.
  • Collaborate with product marketing stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather information for comprehensive content such as white papers and case studies.
  • Manage creative content projects to ensure stakeholder approval and that project deadlines are met.
  • Contribute innovative ideas for novel content opportunities and formats.
  • Uphold the consistency of brand voice, style, and standards within all content.
  • Collaborate with designers to create compelling marketing content that prompts audience engagement and action.
  • Support SEO optimization efforts, ensuring web content is search engine-friendly and targeted towards specific keywords.

Requirements

  • Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Content Creation, or relevant expertise, with significant experience writing for marketing.
  • 5+ years of experience creating and adapting content across a range of mediums.
  • Writing samples showcasing relevant examples of your work.
  • Exceptional writing, proofreading, and editing skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong research capabilities and presentation skills.
  • Experience with SEO writing and basic understanding of SEO principles.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across time zones and manage multiple priorities.
  • Commitment to professional and ethical representation of our company at all times.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with project management tools like Jira.
