About the position

The Copywriter position at CVS Health's Heart Haus is a creative role focused on supporting the Health Plan businesses, including Aetna and CVS Caremark. The writer will collaborate with a team of Art Directors to generate innovative writing ideas and execute various marketing communications projects. This role emphasizes the importance of delivering human-centric health care messaging while adhering to brand standards and engaging in a collaborative creative process.

Responsibilities

• Generate and support innovative creative writing ideas that adhere to brand vision and standards.
• Bring ideas and creative to life across a wide scope of unique projects through innovation and collaboration with the creative team.
• Develop and maintain trusted partnerships with peers.
• Apply deep experience in writing for a broad range of deliverables including OLV, display, print, email, DM, and social media.
• Create compelling themes, ideas, and designs that are on brand and meet or exceed business objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of working as a Writer at an advertising agency and/or corporate environment.
• Strong portfolio with a variety of writing samples.
• Top-notch writing and editing skills, including knowledge of proper punctuation, spelling, and grammar.
• Ability to pitch creative ideas to the ACD and Creative Director.

Nice-to-haves

• Health care experience
• Experience working in creative marketing agencies or marketing organizations
• Proven track record as a Writer with a portfolio of breakthrough creative contributions
• Ability to understand a marketing brief and translate it into ideas
• Experience with Figma, Miro, and Generative AI.
