The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to craft engaging narratives that resonate with the target audience, encouraging them to interact with the organization's offerings. In this role, the Copywriter will collaborate closely with various teams, including design, service center, and creative services, as well as subject matter experts. This collaboration is essential for brainstorming ideas, developing concepts, and articulating effective messaging. The Copywriter will also be responsible for ensuring that all content is SEO-friendly and optimized for conversion, adapting the voice and style of the copy to align with industry standards and audience expectations. The position requires a proactive individual who enjoys learning new technologies and working in a team-oriented environment to find creative solutions. The Copywriter will also engage in research activities, conducting interviews with subject matter experts and team members to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the content produced. Responsibilities

  • Write and edit compelling content for web, product descriptions, promotional materials, email, social media, and advertising.
  • Produce well-written content that is SEO friendly and optimized for conversion.
  • Write high-quality product descriptions and provide supporting content.
  • Assist with creating product description guidelines and copywriting best practices.
  • Adapt copy voice, style, and other characteristics of messaging based on the industry, target audience, and intended action.
  • Stay current on the appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistent messaging.
  • Conduct interviews with subject matter experts and team members to ensure accuracy, validity, and purpose of copy content.
  • Research and understand target audiences and their needs through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews, and in-person meetings.
  • Create, build, and maintain partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to align with organizational and unit goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop engaging and personalized copy content.
  • Recommend improvements for onsite personalization, product, and event enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or other applicable field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One year of related experience.
  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
  • Knowledge of editing guidelines and standards.
  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents and handbooks.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience writing copy for product descriptions, landing pages, and promotional campaigns via web, email, and social media.
  • Hands-on experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other email management platforms.
  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
