About the position

Crawford Group is seeking a talented Copywriter to join a creative team in New York, responsible for marketing the company brand to employees and prospective candidates. The role involves promoting company offerings related to diversity & inclusion, internal career development, and corporate philanthropy, while positioning the company as an employer of choice. The Copywriter will collaborate with art directors, designers, and other copywriters, reporting to the Creative Director, and will work on various brand experiences across multiple media formats.

Responsibilities

• Generate creative ideas that are unexpected, on brief and on brand
• Synthesize concepts into benefits that are both compelling and easy to understand
• Write compelling, persuasive and customer-focused marketing communications, including email, webpages, video, adverts for print, TV, display and OOH, social copy, and promotional material for events
• Collaborate with art directors to develop and pitch concepts as a creative duo
• Maintain a detail-oriented and deadline-driven approach
• Build strong relationships with marketing partners and stakeholders

Requirements

• 5+ years writing experience, preferably with a background in communicating to internal employee and/or external candidate audiences
• Demonstrated experience in producing creative and strategic communications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to interact professionally with internal business partners to understand their business objectives
• Experience working with internal stakeholders to create effective copy targeted to specific audiences
• Experience working closely with design teams and creating communications within an established visual-design system
• Ability to manage workflow in a fast-paced environment
• A strong portfolio, including copywriting samples for collateral such as long-form product brochures, event write-ups, sell sheets, and white papers
