About the position

The Copywriter at Patterson Companies is responsible for creating strategic messaging across various media platforms, including print and online communications. Responsibilities

• Meet with customers to discuss their goals and gather details for copy development.
• Collaborate with project managers, art directors, graphic designers, and video editors to create project plans.
• Pitch creative plans and copy to customers.
• Maintain a professional standard and brand voice for all written materials.
• Present fresh and innovative ideas for projects in a positive tone.
• Learn technical terms and equipment related to various Patterson businesses.
• Revise copy and concepts as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in journalism, communications, English or related field.
• Five years of advertising copywriting experience.
• Strong mastery of writing, copy editing, and proofreading skills.
• Experience writing feature articles, online media, proposals, press releases, and technical writing.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• Exhibit a professional demeanor when representing the company.
