About the position

Whirlpool Corporation is seeking a Copywriter specializing in Retail Activation for its in-house creative agency, WoW Studios. This role focuses on developing compelling marketing content that enhances the consumer experience across various platforms for Whirlpool's brands. The position involves collaboration with creative teams and retail partners to create impactful advertising and storytelling that drives purchase decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with creative teams and key brand/retail partners to develop creative content that meets brand/shopper strategy.
  • Bring creative ideas to life across a wide scope of projects and through various retail media including print, digital, and social touchpoints.
  • Write and develop content to address purchase barriers and drive the brand voice forward.
  • Reflect and express brand/retail strategies with breakthrough ideas and compelling content.
  • Develop a deep knowledge of key retailers, brands, and the home care category to apply across all work.
  • Articulate creative intent to others and coordinate with partners and stakeholders to bring ideas to life.
  • Participate in a collaborative working environment across creative disciplines and the agency.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in shopper marketing and/or e-commerce content creation for established brands and national retailers.
  • Experience in a creative agency or in-house creative setting.
  • A link or attachment to a creative portfolio showcasing work.

  • Enthusiasm for the retail media landscape and shopper marketing best practices.
  • Ability to accept feedback to continually improve work.
  • Problem-solving mentality; self-motivated with strong intuition about brand development and execution.
