About the position
The Copywriter position at Silversea Guest Communications involves creating and managing digital communications aimed at enhancing the guest experience for luxury and expedition products. The role requires collaboration with various departments to ensure brand consistency and timely delivery of marketing materials, including emails, SMS, and push notifications.
Responsibilities
- Concept and write email, SMS, and push notifications, as well as other digital collateral.
- Coordinate deployment of communications considering market, audience, and guest sentiment.
- Partner with departments to present multiple creative conceptual options.
- Drive brand consistency through the development and implementation of brand guidelines for copy.
- Ensure timely release of new creative campaigns and deliverables.
- Provide copy direction and support to internal client teams.
- Proofread and review final material, suggesting improvements as needed.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of BA in English, Journalism, Advertising, Marketing or related field.
- 3-5 years writing experience in advertising or related field.
- Excellent copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Knowledge of English grammar and punctuation.
- Meticulous attention to detail and clear communication.
- Familiarity with digital media and mass communications.
- Knowledge of web writing and SEO best practices is a plus.
- Software experience in Mac and Windows applications including Word and PowerPoint.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of Universal Spanish grammar and punctuation is preferred.
- Working knowledge of visual design programs is considered a plus.
