About the position

As a Copywriter at The Patient Recruiting Agency™, you will be integral to the creation of marketing content for clinical trial campaigns. This role involves collaborating with a creative team to develop copy for various media, including social media, websites, and traditional advertising. You will also contribute to internal marketing efforts, making this a significant opportunity within a growing agency in the Life Science sector.

Responsibilities

  • Read, understand, distill, and adapt clinical research study protocols into marketing language following ICH and CGP guidelines.
  • Concept and develop marketing scripts for various mediums including physical study materials, social media advertising, and traditional media.
  • Develop content for clinical trial study websites, including pre-screening questionnaires and FAQs.
  • Fulfill script development orders issued by the internal project management team.
  • Contribute to quality control assessments of developed scripts, ensuring accuracy in grammar and punctuation.
  • Consistently produce high-quality copy for new and ongoing clinical trials.
  • Revise and reproduce content based on internal revisions and client feedback.
  • Collaborate with management to develop content for company marketing materials, including social media posts and blog content.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field with experience in the Healthcare / Life Science sector, or a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Physiology, Biochemistry with a Minor in English, Communications, Journalism and copywriting experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in copywriting and editing for both print and digital media.
  • Familiarity with clinical research or work experience at a Site, CRO, or Sponsor is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent understanding of SEO principles and social media marketing.
  • Exceptional creativity, strategic thinking, and adaptability.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet quick deadlines.
  • Strong research skills to distill complex science concepts into clear, concise, and engaging content.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while thriving independently.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and creativity.
  • Experience in developing and adhering to style guides.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in social media marketing.
  • Portfolio showcasing a range of writing samples, including social media/PPC campaigns.
