About the position

The Copywriter at FanDuel will play a crucial role in building and executing advertising campaigns for various products and brands under the FanDuel Group umbrella. This position is part of the marketing creative team and focuses on creating engaging ads for sports fans across multiple media platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sports culture and be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality marketing assets.

Responsibilities

• Concept and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and write integrated campaigns across various media.
• Create ads for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter.
• Collaborate with other creative team members including copywriters, art directors, graphic designers, and animators.
• Name new products and assist in bringing them to market.
• Serve as an 'ideas engine' comfortable working with briefs.
• Honor and enforce FanDuel's brand voice.
• Concept and execute campaigns targeting die-hard sports fans.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2+ years of professional copywriting experience preferred.
• Degree and/or certification in a copywriting-related field preferred.
• Compelling copywriting portfolio featuring ads (spec ads acceptable).
• Interest and expertise with major digital advertising platforms and knowledge of best practices.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with other creatives.
• Strong attention to detail in copywriting.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of daily fantasy sports, sports betting, and/or horse racing.
