About the position

The Copywriter position at TEKsystems involves creating compelling content for a healthcare client, focusing on brand storytelling and marketing collateral. The role requires collaboration with various teams to ensure the brand voice is consistent across different channels and mediums, while also upholding health literacy principles in patient education materials.

Responsibilities

• Create content for various needs across the client's internal agency.
• Write compelling, on-brand content that spans channels and mediums.
• Execute plans for the development of marketing collateral materials and advertising.
• Develop and edit copy for marketing collateral including advertising, brochures, flyers, posters, education materials, newsletters, etc.
• Align copy with key marketing initiatives and build the brand through tone, style, and content.
• Uphold health literacy principles for patient education materials.
• Conduct research on topics and data to develop factual, up-to-date copy.
• Partner with team leaders to coordinate workflow and trafficking of copy.
• Work with internal departments to provide creative direction and communication during the development process.
• Ensure copy tone and voice is captured to support multiple and specific uses in Marketing (web, print, etc.).
• Maintain and distribute quarterly spreadsheet of accomplishments.
• Operate under limited guidance and handle moderately complex to complex issues.

Requirements

• 2+ years of agency copywriting experience.
• Experience with brand voice and the ability to tell a brand story.
