About the position

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a skilled Copywriter to be based in Totowa, New Jersey. This role is within the beauty and fashion industry, and the individual will be responsible for various writing tasks including web copy, social media content, product descriptions, and branding materials. The Copywriter will create compelling and engaging web copy that aligns with the company's branding and marketing goals, ensuring that all written content is free from errors and adheres to the company's style guide. In addition to web copy, the Copywriter will develop SEO-friendly content to increase web visibility and drive traffic. This includes writing product descriptions that effectively convey the features and benefits of our products, crafting engaging and creative social media copy that resonates with our target audience, and producing technical copy that provides clear and concise information about our products. The role also involves developing email copy for marketing campaigns and communications, working on ad copywriting projects to create impactful advertisements, and writing blog content that aligns with our brand voice and engages our audience. The Copywriter will also be responsible for developing communication materials for both internal and external use, ensuring that all content produced is of high quality and meets the expectations of the company. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and project management skills, who can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in copywriting.
• Proficiency in creating content for advertisements and blogs is necessary.
• Demonstrated ability to increase brand awareness through compelling copy.
• Proven experience in ad copywriting, promotional copywriting, and email copywriting.
• Skilled in developing a variety of communication materials.
• Must have experience in the beauty and fashion industry.
• Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, or related field is preferred.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a range of writing styles and formats.
