About the position

The Copywriter position at tms involves creating compelling and innovative copy for one of the biggest tech brands. The role requires a creative problem solver who understands consumer behaviors and cultural trends, and can collaborate effectively with an Art Director or Designer. The Copywriter will be responsible for delivering exceptional creative solutions that motivate and inspire audiences, while also contributing to a culture of inclusion and authenticity within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and interrogate briefs to create work that is strategically driven and compelling.
  • Develop and maintain a passionate understanding of the client's business, brand, consumer, and competitive landscape.
  • Apply learnings to creatively solve problems.
  • Meet timelines and expectations while ensuring exceptional work quality.
  • Follow direction from senior creatives and provide guidance to junior team members when necessary.
  • Manage multiple jobs and projects daily, gathering project information and seeking solutions.
  • Assist with creative presentation materials.
  • Communicate openly, honestly, and respectfully with everyone.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years as a Copywriter in an agency or brand space.
  • Background in large scale program activations, promotions, brand marketing, social and loyalty programs.
  • Strong conceptual abilities to generate thought-provoking ideas.
  • Great collaboration and team skills.
  • Killer portfolio showcasing projects that demonstrate creative thinking.
  • Exceptional writing skills, including the ability to write in multiple voices and create captivating headlines.
  • Knowledge of multiple digital platforms, including social media and promotional sites.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
