About the position

The Copywriter at Metropolis will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the company's voice and tone across various platforms. This position involves collaborating with multiple internal teams to ensure consistency and quality in all written communications, including marketing materials, product descriptions, and corporate communications. The Copywriter will be responsible for standardizing the company's messaging and enhancing the overall brand identity as Metropolis continues to grow.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Communications, Marketing, Product, Revenue, Operations, and Executive teams.
• Develop and own the Metropolis voice and tone, ensuring it is consistently applied across all materials.
• Write and edit website copy, including product descriptions and SEO-optimized content.
• Create compelling marketing emails to maximize engagement and conversion rates.
• Write and edit ads and captions for social media channels in collaboration with Marketing and Operations teams.
• Draft corporate communications from both corporate and individual executive perspectives.
• Produce Sales Enablement materials to support Revenue and Operations teams in their pitch processes.
• Consult with the Product team as a UX and functional writer on an ad hoc basis.

Requirements

• 5+ years of copywriting experience, either in-house or at an agency.
• A portfolio demonstrating a clear link to the role, particularly in voice and tone foundations.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and work independently.
• Strong prioritization skills based on business needs.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Familiarity with Adobe Suite and Figma.
• Fluency in MS Office.
