Responsibilities

  • Developing insightful, relevant, and objective-driven organic social content ideas that build the automotive brand's presence and personality.
  • Writing engaging and effective social media copy for a variety of formats (text posts, captions, video scripts, interactive content, etc.).
  • Utilizing proprietary WPP AI tools to enhance and optimize the creative copywriting process, from generating initial ideas to refining final copy.
  • Working closely with art directors, designers, strategists, and other creatives to ensure seamless campaign execution and best-in-class social content.
  • Maintaining a deep understanding of social media trends, platform best practices, and emerging content formats.
  • Mastering and maintaining a consistent brand voice and tone across all social media communications.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Copywriter with a strong focus on social content.
  • Experience in the Automotive space.
  • A portfolio demonstrating exceptional writing skills and a deep understanding of social media copywriting best practices.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Experience working with different content formats and adapting writing style to various target audiences.
  • Knowledge of how AI can be utilized in the creative process is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile marketing environment.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a passion for pushing creative boundaries.
  • Active personal engagement with social media platforms.
  • Prior experience in the automotive or related industries is a plus.
