About the position

The Copywriter will be an integral part of the Global Marketing organization, focusing on creating high-quality content that aligns with the company's voice and tone. This role involves developing copy for various marketing initiatives, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines, and optimizing content for SEO and conversion. The position is remote and is structured as a 6-month W2 contract, with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities

  • Create copy and key messages for emails, on-site materials, advertising, and product flows for major initiatives in the US market.
  • Partner with design to create iterative test-and-learn copy.
  • Advocate for the tone and voice and brand guidelines across all initiatives.
  • Adhere to brand strategy, guidelines, and tone of voice as defined in strategic documents, playbooks, and style guides.
  • Create and maintain editorial and educational content, email marketing campaigns, articles, landing pages, social media, and other communications.
  • Infuse SEO and conversion tactics/strategies into content development.
  • Build content in custom content management systems.
  • Guide content through internal approval processes.
  • Review content performance to increase effectiveness.
  • Plan and attend regular meetings with internal customers and partners.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in exceptional copywriting, proofreading, and editing skills.
  • Experience with brand strategy and ensuring on-brand messaging and creative.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively find information from SMEs.
  • Passionate and purposeful in performing activities.
  • Up-to-date with the latest digital marketing and ecommerce trends.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experienced with content management systems and email marketing tools.
  • Ability to multitask and set priorities within timelines and high expectations.
  • Data-driven with the ability to define success using data and statistical analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Understanding of cultural differences and how to adapt/localize global communication.
  • 3-5+ years of editorial experience in marketing, tech, journalism, product, or other fields.
