About the position

The Brand & Creative Agency is an integral part of the Marketing Center of Excellence, functioning as both a strategic partner and a creative hub for the entire enterprise. This team collaborates with internal partners to create, execute, and deliver innovative creative solutions that align with business requirements, while also engaging with external vendors when necessary. The agency is responsible for developing marketing collateral for both existing and new brand partners, supporting ongoing marketing communications and engagement efforts. As a Brand & Creative Agency Copywriter, you will play a supporting role in collaborating with the creative team to produce high-quality copy across various mediums, including print, email, packaging, digital, video/motion scripts, and brand communications. This position involves working closely with a team of copywriters and proofreaders, contributing to conceptual development, content creation, and project execution. The Copywriter is expected to be a dynamic collaborator, innovator, and content creator, demonstrating original content creation, content management, excellent editing skills, and a keen eye for detail. In this role, you will actively share project responsibilities with your team, often supporting the Lead Copywriter in managing the day-to-day workload. As a representative of the copy team across the organization, you will engage with account partners and senior leadership, requiring a solid understanding of the business and the agility to identify and correct any deviations from best practices. Your contributions will support the Lead Copywriter and the overall Agency in achieving its goals and objectives, while also collaborating with writers located in Bangalore, India.

Responsibilities

  • Transform marketing strategies into compelling communications through creative and innovative content.
  • Craft and deliver creative solutions that cater to the requirements of both internal and external partners.
  • Uphold and enhance creative excellence by generating innovative ideas and ensuring consistency of strategic branding.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure consistent representation of brand identity, both visually and through voice.
  • Partner with internal clients to understand business requirements and ensure creative solutions are rooted in effective strategies.
  • Support the creation of content/copy for marketing materials in support of the Brand & Creative team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in English, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related field of study.
  • 2+ years of copywriting experience in an advertising agency or on the client side.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in English with a specialization in Copywriting.
  • 3+ years' experience with copy work on either client or agency side and across channels.
