About the position

We're seeking a creative and conversion-focused Copywriter to join our growing Content Team. This role is perfect for someone who loves crafting punchy, high-impact copy that grabs attention and drives action across performance and brand marketing channels. In this role, you'll be responsible for ideating and writing copy for paid ads, promotional emails, social/video scripts, and other short-form copy elements across the customer journey. Your work will help fuel demand, reinforce brand messaging, and deliver clear, compelling content that grabs attention and converts. While this role focuses primarily on short-form copy, there will be additional long-form copy needs as well (landing pages, blogs, etc). You'll collaborate closely with our content manager, content team members, design team, demand generation marketers, and product marketers to bring campaigns and concepts to life across multiple touchpoints.

Responsibilities

  • Write compelling, concise copy for paid social ads, display ads, retargeting campaigns, annual events/conferences, landing pages, and short-form promotional assets
  • Write and optimize email campaigns, subject lines, and CTAs to maximize engagement and conversion
  • Develop and write punchy video scripts and copy for social and performance channels (e.g. YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn video, paid reels)
  • Collaborate with designers to bring copy to life visually
  • Translate brand voice and technical messaging into clear, conversational, benefit-led language
  • Contribute to testing strategies (A/B headlines, CTAs, messaging frameworks) to continually improve copy effectiveness
  • Write and refine microcopy for digital experiences (CTA buttons, banners, pop-ups) to enhance UX and conversions
  • Partner with social manager and product marketing to ensure message consistency across all channels
  • Review campaign performance data to iterate and optimize messaging strategies
  • Leverage AI to boost efficiency across the copy creation process

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of professional copywriting experience with a focus on short-form and performance marketing
  • Strong portfolio showcasing results-driven ad, email, and/or video copywriting (*B2B SaaS experience strongly preferred)
  • Proven experience scripting branded and social videos
  • Proven ability to write in a clear, concise, persuasive style across different brand voices and formats
  • Experience with creative concepting and storytelling across multichannel marketing campaigns
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing and audience engagement strategies
  • Bonus: Base level understanding of SEO, AI, and AI search
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and performance-based copy iteration
  • Highly collaborative, organized, and detail-oriented with strong communication skills
  • Comfortable juggling multiple fast-paced projects and shifting priorities
  • Experience using project management tools (e.g. Asana) is a plus
  • Experience using AI (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) in the content creation process and a curiosity for new technologies
