About the position

FINN Partners, a leading firm in the digital marketing space, is seeking an experienced Copywriter to join our growing creative team of over 40 talented individuals. This role is pivotal in executing a wide range of assignments for our Fortune 500 clients, where your ability to simplify complex information into engaging, conversational language will be essential. We are looking for a versatile writer who can craft everything from catchy headlines and social media content to in-depth case studies and white papers. As a Copywriter at FINN Partners, you will be expected to take ownership of your projects, proactively managing them from concept to completion. You will collaborate closely with art directors and designers to determine the best way to communicate messages visually and hierarchically. Your curiosity will drive you to ask insightful questions to fully understand our clients' businesses, allowing you to produce content that resonates with their audiences. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with art directors, strategists, and other team members to develop multi-channel creative concepts that are on strategy and reflect the tone of the brand.
  • Distill complex technical information into conversational, easy-to-understand, engaging copy and content for various platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, infographics, collateral, case studies, video, whitepapers, etc.
  • Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics and current trends to generate ideas for new content.
  • Write copy from concept to completion based on input from client, agency team, and your own proactive research.
  • Take ownership of your projects from start to finish, maintaining a consistently high standard of work.
  • Be highly organized and able to manage multiple projects across multiple clients, regularly reporting their status to your project leads.
  • Collaborate with designers/art directors to determine the hierarchy of content and most effective, engaging way to communicate messaging.
  • Be able to work solo on some projects when needed with little handholding.
  • Regularly attend client meetings to better understand their brand and business and build trusting relationships.
  • Effectively present work to your supervisor, agency team and clients.
  • Embrace a team culture, built on positive, productive working relationships.

Requirements

  • A portfolio of work demonstrating your multi-channel writing skills (Required)
  • 3-5 years of experience working within a creative department, either at an agency or on the client-side.
  • Experience with financial services or any highly regulated industry is a plus.
  • A working understanding of large matrixed organizations, and what it means to write for one.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT), G Suite (Docs, slides).

  • Experience in digital marketing or advertising agencies.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and content marketing strategies.
  • Ability to adapt writing style to different brands and audiences.
