About the position

Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness is seeking a talented Copywriter to join our dynamic Creative team in New York. This role is pivotal in crafting compelling narratives and strategic messaging for our diverse range of clients in the pharmaceutical and wellness sectors. As a Copywriter, you will collaborate closely with art directors, account managers, and other creative professionals to develop innovative solutions that meet client needs and drive engagement. Your work will not only contribute to client projects but also support in-house initiatives and new business development efforts. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work alongside senior writing staff, enhancing your conceptual abilities and honing your craft. You will be responsible for submitting complete, fully referenced, and annotated manuscripts that adhere to clients' style guides, all while requiring minimal supervision. Your role will also involve initiating data searches and maintaining reference files to support your writing. Participation in client meetings will be essential, as you will need to present your work in an organized and engaging manner, ensuring that it resonates with both clients and target audiences. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with art, copy, and account staff to provide creative solutions for client and in-house needs.
  • Work with senior writing staff to develop conceptual abilities.
  • Submit complete, fully referenced, and annotated manuscripts consistent with clients' style guides with minimal supervision.
  • Initiate data searches and maintain reference files.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of pharma advertising experience.
  • Experience with healthcare professionals (HCP) or high science brands.
  • BA or BS degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven creative ability in writing.
