About the position

The conversion copywriter will play a vital role in the marketing team at Writer, responsible for creating compelling, conversion-focused copy across various channels. This position requires a mix of creativity, strategic thinking, and a strong grasp of the brand voice, aimed at driving engagement and guiding prospects through the sales funnel.

Responsibilities

  • Translate briefs into high-converting copy for emails, landing pages, ads, social media, decks, one-pagers, and other marketing materials
  • Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to ensure that copy aligns with visual elements and overall brand strategy
  • Conduct A/B testing with channel owners to optimize copy and improve conversion rates
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in conversion copywriting
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice across all marketing materials
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure that copy effectively moves prospects through the sales funnel
  • Work with stakeholders to analyze campaign performance and provide insights to improve future campaigns
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely delivery of copy

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in conversion copywriting or a related role
  • Proven track record of creating high-converting copy for various marketing channels
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong understanding of how to craft copy that moves prospects through the sales funnel
  • Experience with A/B testing and analyzing campaign performance
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Previous experience with Asana is a plus!
  • Proficiency in using marketing tools such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, and A/B testing platforms
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
