About the position

The Copywriter at Children's Health plays a vital role in the Marketing and Communication Ops department, focusing on creating engaging and persuasive content that aligns with the organization's mission to improve children's health. This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders to develop strategic marketing materials across multiple platforms, ensuring a consistent brand voice and effective communication of the organization's goals.

Responsibilities

  • Creates and writes print, social, web, radio, and TV content.
  • Participates in content development sessions.
  • Writes distinctive copy with attention to strategic accuracy.
  • Understands different language styles that appeal to various target markets.
  • Develops and maintains a clear and consistent brand voice.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues in copywriting.
  • Collaborates with Designers and Manager to develop strategies for assigned work.
  • Works with Designers to ensure visual integrity of ideas meets strategic direction.
  • Helps guide the voice of Children's Health.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience with an advertising agency or in-house marketing team.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Growing knowledge of commonly used style guides including AP Style Guide.

Nice-to-haves

  • At least 5 years of experience preferred.
  • Experience with video/radio scripting preferred.
