About the position

MZ WALLACE is looking for a skilled copywriter to manage and execute a multi-channel digital content strategy. This role involves collaboration with various teams to enhance the brand's communication and storytelling across multiple platforms, including email, website, social media, and performance marketing. The ideal candidate will be passionate about brand storytelling and capable of creating innovative content that aligns with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Craft and deliver compelling copy for a diverse range of campaigns throughout the year, including brand initiatives, product launches, collaborations, partnerships, and special projects.
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing & Brand Creative Director to consistently articulate the brand's voice and tone across consumer-facing platforms, aligning with overarching brand strategies, seasonal narratives, themes, and campaigns.
  • Develop and write engaging content for our website, product descriptions, social media, email campaigns, and other marketing materials.
  • Ensure consistency with brand guidelines across all assets by honing the brand voice and elevating the brand copy.
  • Responsible for all aspects of creative copy development, including concepting, writing, editing, and proofreading.
  • Deliver creative copy that is on brief, on time, and effectively communicates marketing and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the graphic designer and other creative team members to execute deliverables.
  • Keep copy libraries and messaging guidelines up to date to ensure consistency.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in copywriting, preferably within the fashion or retail industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or related studies or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in SEO best practices and content optimization.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention for detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A portfolio showcasing your writing skills and previous work in copywriting.
