About the position

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Copywriter/Copy Editor to produce and refine compelling content for our insurance client's marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a background in writing and editing, as well as experience in the insurance sector (preferably commercial insurance). You will play a key role in ensuring that content is clear, persuasive, and aligned with our brand voice.

Responsibilities

• Write engaging and informative copy for various marketing materials, including website content, blog posts, email campaigns, social media, brochures, and whitepapers.
• Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency, correcting grammatical, punctuation, and spelling errors.
• Utilize knowledge of the commercial insurance industry to create relevant and insightful content that resonates with our target audience.
• Work closely with the marketing team, product managers, and subject matter experts to develop content that supports our marketing strategies and business goals.
• Conduct research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate relevant information into content.
• Understand brand voice and uphold brand standards across all communications.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional copywriting and editing experience, preferably in the commercial insurance industry or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
