About the position

The Copywriter II position at Meridian Technologies focuses on developing and executing communication strategies to support technology change initiatives. This hybrid role involves working with stakeholders to ensure effective communication during transitions to new technologies, including training and managing communication materials.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute communication plans for technology change initiatives.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify communication needs and develop targeted messages.
  • Create and distribute communication materials, such as emails, newsletters, and presentations.
  • Manage the Technology Communications website and social media and slack channels.
  • Train Power Up and Mini Power Up courses.
  • Track and measure the effectiveness of communication efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in communications, preferably in a technology setting.
  • Experience with email marketing, social media, and content development.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with being a trainer and facilitator for technology courses
  • Knowledge of technology trends and best practices.
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
