About the position

Everstory Partners is seeking a talented Copywriter to join their marketing team. This role is essential in crafting compelling content that resonates with customers while upholding the brand's values. Responsibilities

  • Serve as the voice of the brand on all external advertising communications, including print, digital, video, and social materials.
  • Develop clear, persuasive, and original copy for diverse marketing channels.
  • Collaborate with marketing and cross-functional teams to create and implement content strategies that align with brand voice and marketing goals.
  • Conduct thorough research to ensure all content is accurate and relevant.
  • Edit and proofread content to guarantee high-quality, error-free deliverables.
  • Maintain consistency in style, tone, and voice across all content.
  • Apply SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings and enhance online visibility.
  • Craft compelling press releases and manage press recovery efforts.
  • Stay updated on appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistency in messaging.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to enhance content strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2 - 4 years of experience as a copywriter or in a similar role, with a portfolio demonstrating engaging content creation.
  • Experience with SEO and digital marketing strategies.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong research abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Empathy and discretion regarding the sensitive nature of services offered.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the death care industry is preferred but not required.
