About the position

Blackhawk is seeking a talented digital marketing copywriter to oversee copywriting and messaging for both Blackhawk and its clients. This dynamic role demands a strong background in storytelling, content development, copywriting, and digital campaign strategy. The ideal candidate will be a clear thinker who is action-driven and results-oriented. Success in this position requires a self-driven, self-managed, client-focused, and creative individual who can confidently articulate brand and advertising messaging. The digital marketing copywriter will be expected to excel in storytelling, content strategy, copywriting, and direct copy sales techniques across various brand messaging and advertising platforms. In this role, you will collaborate with team members to develop and refine brand voice guidelines, ensuring consistency across all written communications for Blackhawk and its clients. You will craft impactful messaging for a variety of formats, including websites, landing pages, brochures, email campaigns, and other marketing collateral. Additionally, you will write compelling copy for various advertising formats, such as digital ads, social media ads, and sales materials, while employing digital marketing best practices to build engaging stories across advertising campaigns. Your responsibilities will also include proofreading and editing all copy for accuracy, grammar, and style, as well as managing project deadlines to ensure timely launches of websites, email campaigns, and ad campaigns. A key aspect of this role is the ability to conduct thorough and relevant research on various topics, allowing you to answer questions naturally and confidently.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine brand voice guidelines for consistency across all communications.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of copywriting and/or content marketing experience (portfolio required).
  • 2+ years of digital marketing campaign experience (preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, business, or communications.
  • Excellent written and verbal client communication skills.
