The Copywriter will work closely with internal departments such as Customer Service, Engineering, and Software to gather insights that inform campaign strategies and enhance overall marketing initiatives. Staying updated on industry best practices and trends in email marketing is essential for continuous improvement in strategies. The Copywriter will also be expected to provide regular reports on email performance, offering insights and recommendations for optimization. Responsibilities

  • Create concise, exciting product copy that connects customers with emotional drivers for various performance products, optimizing it for conversion using testing regimes.
  • Write compelling and persuasive email copy that resonates with our target audience, deploying it scientifically using campaigns and automated flows.
  • Ideate and create blog content that serves SEO keywords while being helpful and authentic to enthusiasts.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team, including campaign, content, brand, and product marketing.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all email communications, including messaging, tone, and visual elements.
  • Analyze relevant performance metrics and optimize across all channels for engagement and conversion.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as Customer Service, Engineering, and Software to gather insights and data for campaign optimization.
  • Provide regular reports and insights on email performance, including recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in email marketing to continuously improve our strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in email marketing, with agency or startup experience highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Klaviyo or similar email marketing platforms.
  • Strong copywriting skills and ability to tailor messaging to different audience segments.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Netsuite, and Shopify.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on delivering high-quality work.
