You will partner with Merchants and Marketing to ascertain key messages and collaborate with Design, Graphic Production, Copy Coordination, and ICS on creative projects. Additionally, you will manage copy content from concept through final execution.

Requirements

  • Creative fashion writer who understands the brand and is able to maintain voice consistency through all projects.
  • Attuned to fashion, retail and publishing (blogs, social media, etc.).
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, independent thinker that is able to partner across teams.
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to present creative ideas.
  • Excellent proofreading skills and attention to detail, as well as a holistic vision.
  • BA in literature, journalism, advertising, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years copywriting or fashion/beauty editorial writing experience.
  • Fashion/beauty, retail/direct experience.
  • Fluency with Macintosh system.
  • Knowledge of The Chicago Manual of Style and AP Handbook.
  • Ability to read and proofread copy.
  • Ability to type and manipulate a mouse.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
