About the position

We're looking for a Copywriter to help turn our brand's strategies into activations for our products, experiences, and programs. In this role, you'll be responsible for crafting clear, concise, and compelling copy for multiple internal and external audiences. The ideal candidate understands our target audiences and can deliver on-brand copy that's engaging and action-oriented, while working with an enthusiastic cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

  • Experienced in writing for a variety of channels and platforms, including email, social media, print, website, scripts, product descriptions, product marketing, and advertisements.
  • Adeptly leverage our brand voice and copy principles to write clear, concise copy for digital and print channels, with an emphasis on grammar and style.
  • Understand key strategies and tactics, and use that knowledge to deliver results.
  • Adept at working in close partnership with the creative team and business partners on campaigns from concept to completion.
  • Adeptly interpret copy direction and feedback from creative managers and business partners.
  • Understand key business risks and opportunities, and how work contributes to positive outcomes.
  • Able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, with an emphasis on accuracy.
  • Present and explain work, process, decisions, and rationale to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Apply best practices of digital channels and journalism (accuracy, fact-checking, research, etc.), as well as editorial, copy editing, and proofreading skills, during all stages of copy development, while staying up to date with industry trends.
  • Effectively and proactively develop strong professional relationships with the creative team, business partners, and stakeholders across the organization.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience required
  • B.A. in Journalism, English, Marketing Communication, or related field required
  • Experience with Adobe (InDesign, XD) and Microsoft (Word, Excel) programs required
  • Technical and UX writing experience a definite plus
  • Experienced in AP style and brand style guides

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Direct Sales, Food/Beverage, Restaurant, Cookware/Kitchenware industries a plus
