About the position

A Copywriter at Notion, LLC is responsible for creating and reviewing content for a variety of creative projects. This role requires a deep understanding of our clients' brands, industries, and strategies, enabling the Copywriter to craft compelling, professional, and creative B2B stories across multiple media formats. These formats include presentations, videos, white papers, and reports. The ideal candidate is someone who is eager to learn, teach, and conduct research, while also having a passion for writing, brainstorming, and problem-solving. In this fast-paced environment, the Copywriter must demonstrate collaboration, curiosity, and initiative, with a strong emphasis on nurturing client relationships and producing exceptional work. The position demands the ability to think quickly and adapt to various industries and audiences, ensuring that the content aligns with the brand voice and meets strategic communication needs. The Copywriter will work closely with clients and internal teams, including Account Managers, Project Managers, Designers, and the Video team, to deliver high-quality outcomes within deadlines. This role also involves conducting professional interviews with subject matter experts, contributing to creative brainstorming sessions, and providing rationale and content direction to both clients and internal teams. Additionally, the Copywriter will assist with new business opportunities, including RFP responses, proposals, and pitches, while being accountable for time and budget management for project deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Create and review content for various creative projects.
  • Understand clients' brands, industries, and strategies to craft compelling B2B stories.
  • Write for multiple media formats including presentations, videos, white papers, and reports.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to produce high-quality outcomes.
  • Conduct professional interviews with subject matter experts.
  • Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions and provide content direction.
  • Assist with new business opportunities such as RFP responses and proposals.
  • Present to internal and external audiences.
  • Manage multiple projects within deadlines while maintaining quality.
  • Support internal and external marketing and key message development.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in copywriting or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Technical Writing, or similar; a two-year degree with relevant experience may be acceptable.
  • Must present writing samples.
  • Ability to understand strategy from creative briefs and translate needs into impactful copy.
  • Resourceful, conceptual thinker willing to conduct research.
  • Quick learner with the ability to absorb information.
  • Excellent understanding of tone and brand voice.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and independent thinking.
  • Adaptable to various industries and audiences.
  • Experience working across multiple communication channels (print, video, digital, etc.).
  • Eager to collaborate with clients and internal teams.
