About the position

The Copywriter at Life.Church is responsible for creating impactful marketing and communication materials that support the Church to Church initiative, which provides free resources to pastors and leaders. This role involves crafting various types of content, including email copy, blog posts, and advertisements, to enhance the visibility and quality of Life.Church's offerings. The Copywriter will collaborate with other teams to ensure alignment with the church's mission of leading people to become fully devoted followers of Christ.

Responsibilities

  • Create marketing and communication copy for Church to Church products
  • Craft email copy, blog posts, and paid advertisements for the Craig Groeschel Leadership Podcast
  • Develop copy for marketing emails, resources, and paid advertisements for Open Network
  • Write copy for blogs, support articles, and product marketing emails for the Church Online Platform
  • Collaborate with the Content Developer on communication plan and execution schedule
  • Develop the narrative for change management and feature releases as needed
  • Stage emails in Hubspot and push copy through the review process
  • Steward audience, projects, and brand voice
  • Write stories of impact for Church to Church
  • Assist other copy requests as needed
  • Leverage AI tools for copy generation where appropriate
  • Establish brand voice guidelines for each platform
  • Project manage communication and marketing tasks
  • Build strong partnerships with other teams and ministries to support effective collaboration
  • Host pastors and leaders as part of the Church to Church team
  • Champion cross-team projects and support campuses as needed
  • Support projects and events from the Directional Leadership Team's office and other leaders as needed

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Effective at multi-tasking and time management to meet strict deadlines while remaining flexible to change
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofing skills
  • Ability to self-motivate, make independent decisions and problem solve
  • Ability to manage conflict and differing opinions while maintaining composure
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3-5 years of related work experience
