About the position

At Arc, we are on a mission to electrify all waterborne vessels, starting with electric water sport boats. Our vision is to revolutionize the marine industry, which has been dominated by gas boats that are often unreliable, expensive, and harmful to the environment. We believe that electric boats offer a superior alternative, being more reliable, cost-effective, quieter, and cleaner. However, the industry has faced challenges due to outdated technology and a lack of skilled talent. This is where we see our opportunity. By leveraging modern aerospace and automotive techniques, we are developing innovative hulls, batteries, cooling systems, firmware, and software to create the next generation of watercraft. We are seeking a talented copywriter who shares our vision and is eager to take on the challenges of a fast-paced startup environment. In this role, you will be responsible for creating both short- and long-form copy across various channels, including email, social media, blogs, and our website. You will collaborate closely with the Marketing Lead to fulfill copy and content needs throughout the organization, while also brainstorming new ideas to enhance our brand and support our company goals. This position is ideal for a writer who thrives in a dynamic setting and is passionate about contributing to a premium, emerging brand that aims to transform the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting, editing, and publishing engaging blogs and newsletters, as well as other email and SMS marketing needs.
  • Crafting compelling new web copy and enhancing existing web content to effectively communicate our products and mission.
  • Creating content for sales enablement tools for our sales team and field marketing programs, including brochures, direct mail, and one-pagers.
  • Partnering with a marketing team member to develop content for our social media channels to increase awareness and brand affinity.
  • Supporting the organization with additional content creation and copywriting as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of professional experience as a copywriter with a strong portfolio; agency experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities while delivering quality work that enhances the brand.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
