About the position

We are seeking a skilled Copywriter to join our client's team in Norcross, Georgia. This role focuses on creating compelling and persuasive content for various digital platforms, including websites, social media, and emails. The Copywriter will be involved in the entire content creation process, from brainstorming ideas to editing for clarity and consistency, ensuring that all content reflects the brand voice and story.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and write engaging and persuasive content that reflects our brand voice and story across various digital platforms.
  • Work closely with the marketing team and key stakeholders to understand project briefs and develop the appropriate content and copy to support planned initiatives.
  • Edit your own and your colleagues' content to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to the company's editorial guidelines.
  • Conduct research to enhance the quality and relevance of your content.
  • Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Propose innovative content ideas to enhance our brand presence and audience engagement.
  • Collaborate with professionals in the marketing, communications, and corporate responsibility divisions.
  • Interview subject matter experts to develop comprehensive and engaging article content.
  • Write personalized copy for company executives ensuring it is in line with their voice and the company's brand image.
  • Utilize skills in content management systems, advertisements, AP style, blogging, and ad copywriting in the execution of your duties.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a copywriting role or similar.
  • Proven experience with Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging advertisements.
  • Familiarity with AP Style guidelines.
  • Proficiency in blogging and creating compelling blog content.
  • Experience in ad copywriting, with a focus on creating persuasive and engaging content.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of target audience and maintaining brand consistency.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Strong research skills to ensure all copy is correct and factual.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
