About the position

Tree House Recovery is seeking a talented in-house copywriter to join our creative team in Wilmington, NC. This role focuses on creating impactful and conversational copy for various mediums, including web content, blogs, and advertising. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the creative team and report directly to the CEO, contributing to projects primarily in the addiction treatment and wellness sectors.

Responsibilities

• Create original blog content, including editing and proofreading.
• Develop brand-driven website copy that is informative and memorable.
• Generate concept-driven social media ad and post copy.
• Translate expert interviews into compelling stories and easy-to-understand concepts.
• Collaborate with the creative team and clients to ensure brand accuracy and media cohesion.
• Assist in creating concept-driven brochures and print media.
• Work with the team to develop concept-driven email blasts.
• Participate in media performance tracking, assessment, and improvement meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in journalism or related fields.
• Experience in blog content creation and management.
• High-level collaboration skills.
• Effective communication skills, including verbal, written, and visual presentation skills.
• Ability to evaluate performance, glean insights, and optimize content.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with WordPress.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
