Join Maverick Studios, the in-house creative and production agency at Inspire Brands located in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will support Inspire's family of brands by writing world-class copy for our fellow brands and shared services teams, ensuring that the culture and values of Inspire are reflected in all content created. You will collaborate with other members of the Studio to meet broader team goals, all while working onsite at our Atlanta Support Center on a 6-month contract. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the development of strong cross-platform creative materials, including print, digital, point-of-purchase (POP) displays, graphic toolkits, event/sales/executive presentations, and digital and social media content. You will support the communication and marketing efforts for Inspire and its family of restaurant brands through concepting and writing copy. Your ability to expertly and persuasively clarify complex topics into easy-to-understand language will be crucial. You will work closely and collaboratively with various teams at the corporate, brand, and franchisee levels, managing strict deadlines and coordinating edits with project owners, managers, and collaborators to effectively support multiple projects simultaneously. Collaboration is key, as you will learn from other creatives with diverse skill sets and levels of experience to create and execute high-quality work. You will leverage tools such as traffic and ticketing systems and creative briefs to organize requests and needs, ensuring that we can move quickly and produce high-quality work. Understanding, adhering to, and enforcing brand guidelines, style guides, and standards across multiple brands will be essential to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Expertly and persuasively clarify complex topics into easy-to-understand language.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with a variety of teams, at the corporate, brand and franchisee level.
  • Manage strict deadlines and coordinate edits with project owners, managers, and collaborators to effectively support multiple projects at once.
  • Collaborate and learn from other creatives of various skillsets, specialties and levels of experience to create and execute high quality work.
  • Leverage tools, including traffic and ticketing systems and creative briefs, to learn and organize requests and needs to ensure we can move fast and produce high quality work.
  • Understand, adhere to and enforce brand guidelines, style guides and standards across multiple brands.

Requirements

  • 4 year degree or equivalent Art/Design/Advertising degree combined with a promising portfolio of work appropriate for the level of experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of copywriting experience at a digital, marketing or communications agency (or equivalent in a corporate, in-house setting).
  • Experience working with restaurant, food and beverage brands is a plus.
  • Experience with writing for a wide array of media, formats, platforms and mediums including print, broadcast, digital/mobile/social, POP, outdoor and events/displays, video.
  • Demonstratable ability to craft compelling narratives and storylines that drive engagement and action.
  • Ability to work quickly under short deadlines.
  • Demonstrate exceptional grammar, spelling, and sentence structuring skills.
