About the position

The NCP Copywriter is a versatile and concept-driven writer responsible for creating engaging content for both B2B and B2C audiences. This role involves developing marketing communications for various platforms, collaborating with teams, and ensuring brand consistency across all projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Write concise, compelling and conversational copy for B2B and B2C audiences
• Write fluidly between print, social, web content and promotion
• Think like a business to create long- & short- form needs
• Collaborate closely with strategists, designers and other writers
• Develop deep mastery of brands and categories assigned
• Present compellingly
• Maintain brand voice and tone across all executions
• Ensure conceptual and quality alignment with senior Creative leads
• Ideate and implement creative that aligns with annual strategies, short-term campaigns and always-on content to drive engagement and achieve established success metrics
• Proactively bring ideas to the table, have a POV and get deliverables across the finish line
• Build strong internal relationships as well as a trusting rapport with clients
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience writing business- and consumer-facing long- and short-form content
• A strong portfolio of professional and/or speculative creative work with examples of writing/thinking to demonstrate abilities is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and Adobe Acrobat Pro
• Comfortable working remotely via platforms like Microsoft Teams, Google Workplace, Slack, etc.
