About the position

The Digital Marketing Specialist is a pivotal role within COREtec, responsible for enhancing the company's digital marketing initiatives and ensuring a prominent online presence. This position requires a strategic mindset to execute comprehensive digital strategies that align with COREtec's brand and organizational goals. The specialist will work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to develop and implement marketing deliverables that resonate with both tangible and digital platforms. In this role, the Digital Marketing Specialist will be tasked with managing the execution of various digital marketing projects, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure that all marketing efforts are cohesive and effective. Staying abreast of the latest digital trends is crucial, as the specialist will need to provide research insights into consumer preferences and industry movements. This knowledge will be instrumental in identifying growth opportunities and innovative strategies within the digital landscape. The specialist will also be responsible for optimizing digital campaigns aimed at increasing brand awareness, generating leads, and acquiring new customers. This includes developing strategies to enhance website traffic and performance, as well as creating engaging organic social media content. Compliance with relevant laws and regulations for digital touchpoints is essential, as is maintaining the website's domain and hosting registration. Overall, this role is integral to driving COREtec's digital marketing success and fostering collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Align the website strategy with the COREtec brand strategy and standards and the broader organizational goals and strategies.
  • Understand and align marketing deliverables with message, imagery, and product for tangible and digital platforms.
  • Manage the execution of digital marketing deliverables with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Stay up to date on digital trends and provide research to gain insights into consumer preferences, sentiment, and industry trends.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify opportunities for growth and innovation in the digital space.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external agencies, and vendors to leverage expertise in areas such as SEO, SEM, email, display, search, UX/UI, social, and community management.
  • Implement and optimize digital campaigns to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer acquisition.
  • Create strategies to improve website traffic and performance.
  • Develop the strategy of organic social media content, creative, and posting along with creative cohort.
  • Ensure the website, landing pages, and other digital touchpoints comply with the appropriate laws and regulations.
  • Keep the website's domain and hosting registration current.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, or IT related field
  • 3+ years' experience in digital marketing or related field
  • Strong sense of creativity, imagination, and innovation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with other departments
  • In-depth knowledge of various digital and social media platforms and best practices
  • CRM, SEO, SEM and keyword experience
  • Understanding of website analytics tools, such as Google Analytics
  • Positive and inclusive attitude that fosters collaboration with other departments within Shaw Industries
  • Ability to work independently
